Roger Broders designed this Rome travel poster in 1921 for the Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée (PLM) railway, inviting travellers to the Eternal City. Broders’ refined Art Deco style — clean silhouettes, luminous colour and architectural grandeur — made him the most celebrated poster artist of the PLM, and his Rome design is a jewel of 1920s travel advertising.

A wonderful collector’s piece for lovers of Rome, Italian travel history and the golden age of railway posters — an eye-catching centrepiece for a living room, study, office or hallway.
